STORYLINE: Lucy Gatlin is a lesbian drummer and a recovering addict, coping with PTSD as she tries to write her first solo album while sober. LUCY IS A LOSER is a dark comedy and a romantic adventure, as Lucy deals with an ex-girlfriend who hates her, a distracting artist with a crush on her, and her dead Aunt Julia, who left her something in her will that may end up being much better than money.

LUCY
Female, mid/late 30s, open to all ethnicities. Athletic. Cowgirl tomboy. Lucy is a recovering alcoholic, and current cigarette smoker (rolls her own). She is obsessive about routine and process, in an effort to stay busy and grounded. She does jumping jacks, planks, and walks a lot. She plays drums, piano, and guitar.
