Clearly, they were habitues of traditional venues like the Goodman and Nederlander theatres, and I simply had to interrupt them to sing the praises of Chicago's numerous and thoroughly excellent storefront theatres. As I've often said, theatre takes on a special glow when you're watching from within the players' pheromone clouds."
