The Play That Goes Wrong Reviews
Around The Town Chicago - Highly Recommended
"...The play within a play is sharply directed by Johanna McKenzie Miller who plays part of the play straight ( as a mystery. whodunit?) The cast is amazing, in that they do things that are seldom done on a stage and “Live Theater ” certainly is filled with energy that you won’t see on most stages. The set by Angela Weber Miller is one that must fall apart and there are moments when the audience begins to fear for the performers. They handle it with grace and style and even when it appears to be falling apart, the actors hold their own, again, to perfection."

"...This production delivers laugh after laugh through fearless physical comedy, razor?sharp timing, and a cast fully committed to the magnificent meltdown unfolding around them. It's the rare show that guarantees a good time - whether you're a seasoned theatre goer or someone who just needs a night of pure, cathartic laughter."

"...Metropolis’ production of “The Play That Goes Wrong” takes being silly very seriously. The absurdity of the premise that everything must go wrong belies the capable stagecraft necessary to make it go right. The result is a faithful homage to the witty repartee and slapstick comedy of the early-mid twentieth century, fit for all ages to enjoy."
