"...Director Phelps elicits a winning mixture of laughter and poignancy from his sextet ensemble. Ross Patrick Frawley and Michelle Ziccarelli are terrific comic relief - he the stumbling, accident prone stranger from Chicago, she the haughty wannabe glamour girl who has seen better days. Frawley's physical awkwardness and sweet vulnerability are as hilarious as Ziccarelli's huge, mascara-drenched eyes. Luke Hamilton's dry and sardonic French tutor is a brilliant study in priggish loneliness, acidly quipping at one point that his ideal partner would be "a woman without a mouth". That would hardly seem to describe either Emily Robinson's conflicted Sylvia or Jordan Leigh Wakefield's haunted Imogen, who for all their unresolved emotions are both intelligent and shrewd heroines."
