In The Bear, a young widow named Ellie (Laura Stephenson) has locked herself away in her dead husband's mansion in an attempt to "win" her relationship by remaining miserable for all time, much to the annoyance of her beleaguered servant (Jack Bourgeois).Her self-imprisonment is interrupted by the arrival of a stubborn Russian landowner (Chris McGillivray) who's come to claim a debt, but accidentally ignites a cat-and-mouse affair that threatens to ruin all three of them.
