"...The "Love, Chaos and Dinner" title for the latest version of Teatro ZinZanni in Chicago could not be more apt. The cabaret-circus show in the spiegeltent inside the former Masonic hall on Randolph Street has always been performed with a lot of love. The schedule and name changes have been a tad chaotic. But a good dinner has been a constant."

"...This is mini-cirque, individual performers and one trapeze pair (the trapeze doesn't swing), and the same folks do the clowning bits, which are rather obviously their secondary talents. And it comes with a three-course dinner. Also, don't bring the kids (that's what "Blue Man Group" is for)."

"...Teatro ZinZanni Presents: Love, Chaos, & Dinner has been a reliably entertaining fantasia of top-tier circus hijinks since it debuted here way back in the before times of 2019. (For a few months post-pandemic, Cabaret ZaZou, using the same dinner-and-a-circus concept and some of the same artists as ZinZanni, played in the mirrored spiegeltent on the Cambria Hotel's 14th floor.) The show's scripts may change, but its international roster of clowns, contortionists, aerialists, and vocalists can be counted on to serve up a compelling, visually gorgeous mix of cabaret, vaudeville, and gasp-inducing stunt work"

"...Teatro ZinZanni has another fun-filled, entertaining circus dinner theater adventure with its signature blend of cirque, comedy, and cabaret called Love, Chaos & Dinner. With its tasty food combined with contortionists, juggling, aerialists, impressive Trapeze performance with a Comedic Magician, and fantastic singing, it's an event that everyone should experience."

"...They are back!!! For those of you who have heard about the wonderful theatrical experience called "Teatro ZinZanni" it is back in its Chicago home at the Cambria Hotel located at 32 West Randolph in Chicago's "Theatre District". The show is a combination of Cirque comedy, cabaret, spectacle and live music and they do get the audience involved. This is the 5th time that we have been to this charming establishment, and each time, the show is somewhat different than the previous version. That is what makes it so much fun! Although you know what toe expect, you do not know what you will see! Makes for a fun experience!"

"...From the moment you enter the Cambria Hotel, the otherworldly experience created by the cast and crew of Teatro ZinZanni begins. We were directed to the elevator by a woman in red satin, and exited it into a beautiful lobby and bar. Upon entering the tent itself, I could almost hear the opening words of Cabaret, welcoming me and urging me to leave my troubles at the door. My companion and I had the dinner service, and a delightful, savory tart was awaiting us at our table. Cast members wandered about, speaking with guests, making jokes and creating little bits of entertainment for anyone around them."

"...Upon entering the beautifully decorated lobby of Teatro Zinzanni theater on the 14th floor of the Cambria Hotel, you are instantly transported to an exquisite, romantic art deco speakeasy. The theater itself is housed under a stunning 100-year-old Belgian Spiegeltent, featuring booth and chair seating in the round. A delightful five-piece live band plays throughout the show, keeping the lively supper club atmosphere buzzing."

"...The crowd was silent. You could hear a pin drop. I could feel the tension bubbling around me as everyone looked up at Marie (performed by Elayne Kramer), perched on her platform in the middle of the circus tent, washed in purple and blue light. However, by "perch," I do not mean standing or even crouching. Marie was balancing on a small, horse-shoe shaped surface with nothing but her hands."

"...Teatro ZinZanni, located on the 14th floor of the Cambria Hotel, is something like a pared-down Cirque du Soleil blended with a rock show and a three-course dinner. In its newest incarnation (still called Love, Chaos, and Dinner), TZ’s superb cast, crew, musicians, and chefs have once more put together a marvelously complete entertainment package perfect for a night on the town. I have only one complaint, which I will get to in a bit, but even with that, the ZinZanni experience remains one of the best in the city."

"...There was a genuine air of excitement for the opening on Friday of Teatro ZinZanni's 2024 summer show in the magnificent Spiegeltent ZaZou on the 14th floor of the Cambria Hotel in the heart of the Chicago Loop Theatre District. There were several birthdays being celebrated and at least one bubbly bachelorette party having fun, the revelers being set apart from the rest of the glittery crowd with rhinestone-studded foreheads and matching eye shadow. At the main entrance on Randolph just off Dearborn, there is a savvy new mascot to mark the location: a four-foot pink elephant statue that beckons you to enter. From the lobby, guests are escorted via a private elevator to the main event that combines a wide array of topflight cirque acts, music, comedy, cabaret and a four-course dinner. It is a ride we have taken often since 2019 and this unique show would typically be more than enough to get the sold-out crowd on their feet."

"...Tucked away under an improbably tall big top known as the Spiegeltent ZaZou on the 14th floor of the Cambria Hotel Chicago Loop right between Broadway in Chicago’s Nederlander Theatre and the Goodman, there’s a riotous evening of circus acts, comedy, magic and music known as Teatro ZinZanni: Love, Chaos and Dinner unfolding Thursday through Sunday evenings to appreciative crowds of tourists and more than a few intrepid locals."

"...I was so hyped to again experience this alluring, marvelous, magical show Love, Chaos, & Dinner in the summer of 2024. My anticipation level was beyond sky high to be able to attend opening night. This new show rewarded me well. It does not get old or disappoint. It was a whole new show. I am only disheartened that not everyone has heard of Teatro Zinzanni. When I tell others about it I get blank stares, a quizzical look, and remarks that they have never heard about it. Everyone should be aware of this spectacular entertainment venue. Together let us spread the word, please."
