Around The Town Chicago - Recommended

"...There is nothing like a play! Nothing like a good old-fashioned musical. Yes, the hits of Rodgers & Hammerstein and the likes of Stephen Sondheim as well as Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice will live on for eons. I thank those theater companies who keep bringing back these historical musicals, so younger audiences can be exposed to the classics. The Skokie Theatre, located at 7924 Lincoln Avenue has made it a point of each season to include a classic musical and for the first time, this season, they are taking on "South Pacific", a musical dealing with war, prejudice and love."
