"...This is a first-class tour, indistinguishable from the show on Broadway, and as you'd expect with so successful a title and so many young performers aspiring to be part of this particular court, this is a professional company with styles based on the original stars but still their own. (I especially especially enjoyed Taylor, not least for her notable originality, but that is no knock on anyone else)."

"...From Shakespeare's plays to history's texts, the wives of King Henry VIII have long been eclipsed by the corpulent shadow of their royal husband. The brutally reductive rhyme delivered with thunderous portent at the top of the Tony Award-winning musical "Six" labels them accordingly: Divorced, beheaded, died; divorced, beheaded, survived."

"...While I believe the Nederlander Theatre might be a little larger than this show should be staged in, the six performers and the staging ( Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage directed) and (Carrie-Anne Ingroulle ) choreography were very effective. The story is simple. We get to meet six women, all of whom had a marriage to King Henry The Eighth. They are hoping that after each tells their story, we, the audience .will vote and advise as to which story is the most important and that wife will claim victory."

Featuring a sumptuous Scenic Design by Emma Bailey, creative concert Lighting Design by Tim Deiling and exquisite, jaw-dropping, polished performances by a talented onstage band and a magnificent and majestic cast, don't miss the chance to "Get Down," possibly for the first time or maybe even a return visit, with this regal, royal romp. You'll absolutely Lose Ur Head over SIX!"

"..."SIX" is more than a musical; it is a powerful declaration of empowerment and identity. The vibrant celebration of the queens’ stories beautifully aligns with the values of Pride Month, making it an essential production to experience during this time of year. With dynamic performances, infectious energy, and profound messages, "SIX" leaves an indelible mark on its audience, emphasizing the importance of owning our narratives and celebrating our true selves. It's a reminder that finding your voice and claiming your story is the ultimate act of rebellion. "SIX" is a celebration of defying expectations and embracing who you are, unapologetically. So, get ready to "Get Down With Herstory" because this show reminds us that even queens can rock."

"...This concert-styled musical engages from the first note. These Queens came back to life to compete against each other. The contest is to determine whose life was the most tragic. Despite the disconcerting theme of abusive, murdering husband, SIX is everything but sad. In the 21st Century, these wives are no longer victims. They are majestic. They are empowered. They are fierce!"

"...Every one of these songs, plus the finale and inevitable encore, is a hummable, resounding, audience-rousing sonic treat enhanced by frequent exhortations of the queens to enjoy ourselves. (No such pleas are really needed, but such coaching is de rigueur at rock concerts, which this show basically is.) When we reach the end, when we hear that each of these women was not just one of six wives but “one of a kind, no category,” we are absolutely pumped to play the soundtrack on the way home…which is precisely what my daughter and I did."

"...Six is a phenomenon with more staying power than any of Henry's wives had back in the day. Beyond the engaging reality singing contest vibe (which manages to impart a few nuggets of the actual history), the sensational costumes, and the high-octane, all-female onstage backing band, it's the talented Six themselves who keep the crowd moving in their seats and breaking out in joyous ovations whenever one of them hits a show-stopping note from the score by Lucy Moss and Toby Marlow, who also collaborated on the clever book."

"..."Six" is a show that really wants you to like it. And I really wanted to like it too. We met somewhere in the middle. Watching "Six" is like eating cotton candy at the carnival-it was fun and fluffy and colorful, but there wasn't much nutritional value, and by the end my teeth felt sticky."
