When Dolittle announces that he has determined to rejoin the human race, you fully expect Tune to break into "Before the Parade Passes By." As a whole, it's an enjoyable show, not a great one by any standard, but a thoroughly respectable display of showmanship by a master showman. And by the time Tune flies off on the Great Lunar Moth amidst a dazzling spray of confetti, it's just cute and corny enough to send the child-like spirit in all of us soaring."
