Tickets for the 25th Anniversary Tour of CHICAGO will are now on sale. CHICAGO will play Broadway In Chicago's CIBC Theatre for a limited engagement January 17 - 29, 2023.

CHICAGO has returned to the city after 25 years, and it is still the same show that made Broadway come alive! It tells an age-old story of fame, fortune and lots of excitement - with one energetic song following another - and some truly remarkable dancing. There's something for everyone in this electrifying musical!

With a legendary book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, CHICAGO is the #1 longest-running American musical in Broadway history -- and it still shows no sign of ever slowing down! CHICAGO was the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording.

Set in the glamorous 1920s, CHICAGO follows Roxie Hart's story. A housewife and nightclub dancer, she kills her lover after he threatens to leave her. In an attempt to avoid punishment for her crime, she enlists the help of a shrewd criminal lawyer who is able to turn her malicious act into a sensational headline-worthy story. Her actions even put her in competition with her cellmate, Velma Kelly.

CHICAGO has been a worldwide hit, with audiences from Mexico City to Moscow, Sao Paulo to South Africa enjoying the show over the past 25 years. It has been seen in 36 countries and viewed by 33 million people, and now it is returning to its home city of Chicago!
