Remy Bumppo Theatre Company presents its annual benefit Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the stunning Cathedral Room at the University Club of Chicago, 76 E. Monroe St.  The theme of the 8th annual benefit is Une Celebration de Nos Amis, inspired by the 2009-2010 season theme "Friendships Tested" and the final play of our season, Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Choderlos De Laclos.  Benefit chair and Remy Bumppo Board Member Jennifer Morrow explains, "The English translation of our theme is "A Celebration of Our Friends," and we look forward to celebrating this exciting season, and honoring our friends whose support for our mission sustains the caliber of Remy Bumppo's programs and productions."

The benefit will feature a live and silent auction, including irresistible wares such as dinners at some of Chicago's finest restaurants, theatre tickets, sports tickets, jewelry, art and getaways. When the silent auction closes, guests will be served a French-inspired brunch, created by the chefs at The University Club of Chicago. Guests will be privy to the first public announcement of the 2010-2011 season, and enjoy a sneak preview of the plays performed by the Remy Bumppo Artistic Associates.

Guests can add a special "Preview Party" package to their table or ticket purchase which includes tickets to an exclusive raffle drawing for a trip for two to Paris, including round-trip airfare for two to Paris, and a two-week stay in a Parisian flat. Preview Party tickets are $200 per person for one admission and one raffle ticket, or $250 per couple for two admissions and one raffle ticket.  The Preview Party is limited to 40 entrants.  Benefit table and ticket prices are $125 - $175 for single tickets or $1,750 - $2,500 for Tables of 10.
