Following their successful second season of plays including Anna Deavere Smith's Fires in the Mirror, Teatro Luna's S-E-X-Oh!, the Words in Motion festival, Rohina's Unveiled, and Brett Neveu's The Last Barbecue, 16th Street in 2010 presents six great, diverse Chicago writers: Tony Fitzpatrick, Joel Drake Johnson, Rohina Malik, Tanya Saracho, Michael Fosberg and Robert Koon all with stories around the theme: "What is Home?"

A place. A city. A house. A beginning. Is home something we take with us when we leave it? Does it move with us, or is it something we leave behind? What are the boundaries of home? Is our home big enough for others? How does the meaning of home change as we age? Can we ever go back? These are the questions posed by these six Chicago writers in 2010.

Recognized by the Chicago Reader as Chicago's Best Emerging Theater 2009, 16th Street Theater is located 17 minutes from downtown Chicago at the Berwyn Cultural Center, 6420 16th Street, Berwyn, IL 60402. Just west of Ridgeland, the theater is one mile southwest of the Austin exit off the Eisenhower Expressway/290 and the Austin Blue line. There is free parking in the lot one block west at 16th and Gunderson. Go to www.16thstreettheater.org to subscribe to Season Three or for more information.
