Math and Aftermath takes place on Bikini Atoll, a small island in the south pacific famous for the Hydrogen bomb test in 1954. In the play, a group of individuals are on the island the day before the atomic test to film a blockbuster gay porn film, “The Big Bang”. Counterplaying passion and lust against the backdrop of the 50’s and the nuclear scare, Grimsley has written a surreal drama with kinship to the classic Twilight Zone episodes.
