I Do! I Do! Reviews
Centerstage - Highly Recommended
"...Like life, marriage isn't perfect but until someone comes up with something better, it will have to do. And Jones and Schmidt have painted an honest picture of wedded bliss and bugaboos against a musical palette of wonderful songs that is both funny and tender."

"...In my head, I have construed a fantasy production of Jan de Hartog’s The Fourposter at Theatre at the Center with the same cast and set, and even with the twin pianos playing Harvey Schmidt’s music adapted into a score. That could have been a four-star, must-see show; this is not. Through no fault of anyone involved in this production, except perhaps Artistic Director William Pullinsi for allowing Theatre at the Center to mount this catastrophe of writing, I Do! I Do! is a failure."

"...We see the Snow’s age gracefully as they struggle for purpose after their children get married and as old age creeps upon them. I Do! I Do! is an ode to all those eternal marriages so dominant in the 20th Century. Filled with humor, a fine score and two delightful characters, I Do! I Do! is an intimate, nostalgic show. William A. Underwood and Randy Glancy have their pianos sizzling while Bernie Yvon and Heidi Kettenring land their songs with gusto and loads of honesty."

"...I want to give a bravo to the musicians who make the music happen. Musical Director William A. Underwood and 2nd pianist Randy Glancy do a great job. To make a production truly shine it takes more than solid acting and directing. The aforementioned music is a key factor and despite this being a two person show, there is music and some dance, so we must give a tip-of-the-top-hat to Choreographer Linda Fortunato. The set designed by Ann N. Davis, a lavish room with a bed in the middle that later becomes their master bedroom and enlarges the space, is cleverly done."
