"...The play is decidedly old-fashioned in its writing and characterization, as well as the use of frequent blackouts for scene and costume changes that interrupt the flow of the evening. Director Catherine Davis has been faithful to a fault in recreating a slightly musty period comedy that still manages to charm and take us outside of reality. This is what Attic Playhouse does well, and as one fellow audience member on opening night remarked, the price is right and the parking is free, something few Chicago theatres can boast."
