Forever Plaid Reviews

"...The have some fun with the audience as well, bringing an audience member onstage to play the piano- "Chopsticks" is what we got- very cute! This production is directed by Edward Lindem with musical direction by Jeremy Ramey. The tech portions were right on! Lighting ( Pat Henderson), sound ( Ethan Patterson) and costumes (Wendy Kaplan). The Skokie Theatre is an intimate space so the audience is up close and gets to feel as if the fourth wall is invisible. As I said at the start, this is not my usual "thing", but we wanted to let you know before you miss the opportunity-"

"...The time is the early 1960s. A hapless quartet of close harmony singers who call themselves The Plaids find they have been killed in a car wreck but are conscious and singing better than ever. For the next 90 minutes they perform 23 songs including: Three Coins in a Fountain, Moments to Remember, and Love is a Many Splendored Thing."

"...Forever Plaid is a romp through pitch-perfect harmonies and delightful comic timing. A musical tribute to the boy groups of yesteryear-The Four Aces, The Four Freshmen, and The Lettermen, the show will bring back memories of your favorite songs."
