Erendira, inspired by Gabriel Garcia Marquez's 1979 short story, The Tale of Innocent Erendira and her Heartless Grandmother, tells a bizarre fairy tale of an evil grandmother forcing her Cinderella-like granddaughter to sell her body. The play explores issues of family relations and abuse. Performed in Spanish.
