Earth: TTFN?!
Chicago Tribune - Not Recommended
"...Any time you find yourself at a show where the script is written by someone—or something—called “The Chronicler,” you should anticipate trouble. But nothing could adequately prepare you for the amateurish incompetence that permeates “Earth: TTFN,” the ill-founded, ill-prepared and thorough pathetic new show at the Greenhouse Theater Center in Lincoln Park."

"...Earth TTFN?! ("tata for now") punctuates the tale of an intergalactic real estate development scheme involving the demolition of Earth with questions pitched directly at the audience. The basic idea is to create the flavor of a jolly improv show in the context of a more or less scripted satire. With jokes that hover at the level of naming characters Levitra and Cialis, and social commentary that runs to equating Rush Limbaugh with Jabba the Hut, it takes serious audience effort to save Earth."

"...despite a great idea at its core, the script, instead of going full-tilt geek, settles for by-the-book one-liners and warmed-over pop-culture references. The action grinds to a halt whenever the audience is called upon to fill in Mad Libs plot points. And although the self-consciousness eases as the evening wears on, Earth: TTFN?! never transforms into the blithe choose-your-own-adventure it promises at the outset, relying instead on the kind of shoehorned political jokes that weren’t that funny when Men in Black did them (Blago’s an alien, ha ha)."

"...While the show is somewhat inane, there are lots of laughs amidst some groans. One scene in particular, where you will laugh til it hurts, is the Botoxayomama scene, handled with style and grace by Keith Sanga Alexander who truly has our President down pat, vs. the Lobbyist, beautifully played by Jen Spyra. Ryan Heywood is a standout in his dual roles as Alcumuson and ID and Drew Anderson is quite a stitch as Addison Clark. The main character is Carter, the Earthling who gets to state his case to the Senate in Sildenia."
