Marcantal's play, Devour, takes an insider view into the lives of the rich, privileged, and rebellious youth of high society socialites and the scary lengths that some will go simply for a mention in the entertainment news. More importantly Marcantel tells the story of a young, smart, and beautiful woman who has never quite felt like she fits in. At the end of day, everyone's quest for love and acceptance is the same. For the rich, it just means that some blood may be shed. “In the over saturated market of celebrity news, it takes a lot to stand out” says Stone, “who is ultimately responsible for the crimes we commit: the consumers, celebrities, or reporters? Would one exist without the other?”
