Bonhoeffer's Cost at Provision Theater Company

"...With all the excellent things I’ve said about “Bonhoeffer’s Cost”, I bet you’re wondering why I choose to label the production as a three and not a four. Well, while I love historic dramas, I found this one to lack a certain feeling of ruthlessness and gritty nature. World War II was one of the most vicious time periods in the history of the world, but “Bonhoeffer’s Cost” was a little vague on the impact it had on the world. Another misfortune I contemplated was the length of the play which runs a good 2:45, but I felt the play could have easily ended 30 minutes before. There were several scenes that built up for a dramatic ending but then were met with a following scene that drug the play further than it should. Other than those minor mishaps, “Bonhoeffer’s Cost” is well worth the ticket price."
