St. Patrick's Summer Theatre is seeking versatile, comedic actors for its first post-COVID production, THE 39 STEPS by Patrick Barlow (based on the John Buchan novel and the Alfred Hitchcock film).
Characters:
Richard Hannay: male-identifying (20s-40s), any ethnicity
Annabella/Pamela/Margaret: female-identifying (20s-40s), any ethnicity
Clown 1: any gender, any ethnicity (20s-50s)
Clown 2: any gender, any ethnicity (20s-50s)
Production Info:
Rehearsals and performances will be held at the Stahl Family Theatre
(5900 W Belmont Ave in the Belmont-Cragin neighborhood)
Directed by James Yost
Auditions: Video submissions only, callbacks via Zoom if necessary
Pay Range: $800 stipend
Rehearsals beginning July 24.
Monday-Thursday 6-10pm and Sundays 2-6pm

August 24 - September 3
