BimBamBoom is seeking experienced burlesque dancers or performers with dance/ movement training to join the 2022/2023 cast for Chicago's weekly burlesque revue, PEEP SHOW!
We are seeking new company members and guest performers. We are also willing to train and grow newbies into seasoned professionals with our talented staff and production support. Company members vote on show concepts, co-produce shows for additional compensation and perform in a variety of venues around Chicagoland.
BimBamBoom places no restrictions on gender, age, size, race or ethnicity. We're seeking charismatic and talented human beings of all shapes and sizes to delight our audiences.
BimBamBoom is an artist-focused performance collective. We emphasize and support artist autonomy and a safe, collaborative production environment.
Shows pay $30 - $50, plus tips and other benefits. Additional shows may pay more, depending on cast size, venue, production etc. BimBamBoom company members also enjoy comp tickets to all of our many productions.

Accessible via the 65 Grand Ave bus. Street parking is available around the venue.
Show Description:
BimBamBoom produces several shows and events in Chicago. They include PEEP SHOW, GRAND CABARET AFTER DARK, VINYL VIXENS, THE CHICAGO VAMPIRE BALL and NUDE YEARS EVE. BimBamBoom produces shows at a variety of venues in the Chicagoland area.
Cast members perform in 1- 2 late night shows a month. (Potentially more if you prefer.) We do not have a regular rehearsal schedule. Dancers rehearse their solos in their own time. We do have a company meeting ever 2 - 3 months.
Please prepare a 2 - 3 minute dance routine to showcase your onstage persona. You may elect to strip for your routine, but that's not necessary. We are more focused on stage presence and audience interaction. If you have other skills to demonstrate (ie, vocalist, circus arts, pole dancing, etc) please let us know when you select your audition slot.
