Music Theater Works is auditioning for the role Georges in La Cage aux Folles to play opposite of Ginger Minj as Albin/Zsa Zsa. And Cagelles in La Cage aux Folles.

Covid-19 Policy: All auditions will be done at our large rehearsal space with garage doors for open air possibility. Artists will be asked to remove masks for their initial audition while all staff remains masked. An individual artist will be the only one unmasked. During dance calls, all artists and staff will be asked to remain masked.

Character Descriptions
Georges: Male identifying 45-59

Vocal Range: G2-F4 ; Gregarious and emcee of the nightclub; suave, debonnaire, very personable, and madly in love with his partner of 20+ years, Albin; deeply in love with his son and would move mountains to give him anything he wants; charming, moves well, energetic, and a kind and loving man.

Cagelles: All gender identities
Strong dancers of any age. Must be able to sing. Drop splits and tumbling a plus.

Ethnicity: All Ethnicities for all roles

Pay: Ensemble: $600 for rehearsals + run of show. Supporting/Principal Actors: Rates vary depending on role.

Auditions are on November 12th for Georges and November 13th for Cagelles
