KRIS KRINGLE: Character man 40s-50s, warm, kind, jolly, in essence Santa Claus, must sing and move.
DORIS WALKER: Leading lady, late 20s-30s, tough and cynical on the outside, but warm and loving under the surface, must sing and move well.
FRED GAILY: Leading man, late 20s-30s, handsome.
MR. SHELLHAMMER: comic character man 30s-40s.
MR. MACY, JUDGE: Character men 40s-50s, should sing and have comic ability.

POTIPHAR'S WIFE: Female dancer/singer, seductive, attractive.

QUEEN: Character leading lady 40s/50s, elegant, regal, sings well.
FAIRY GODMOTHER: Leading lady late 20s/30s, warm with a whimsical quality, sings well.
STEPMOTHER: Character woman 30s/40s, a villain but not totally evil. Imperious.
STEPSISTERS: Young comic character women, 20s, who sing well.
