"75 Minutes" is a musical comedy news magazine parody that reimagines the biblical Book of Esther through the lens of a television news broadcast. The show humorously combines historical and biblical figures with classic TV news anchors as they time-travel via mobile app to 5th century BCE Shushan, Persia.

The 75-minute fast-paced production features news team segments, historical royal drama, and fun parodies. The show includes parodies of pop, rock, and Broadway hits, drawing inspiration from hit shows like Grease and Something Rotten alongside pop artists such as Gloria Gaynor, Aretha Franklin, and Madonna, with customized lyrics tailored specifically to the Purim story and modern pop-culture jokes.

The regular cast of characters includes King Ahasuerus, Queen Vashti, Mordechai, Esther, and the villainous vizier Haman, alongside the three disgruntled eunuch guards (Bigthan, Teresh, and Bob) and the intrepid TV news reporting team. There are fantastic featured roles, ensemble tracks, and plenty of room for comedic timing and stage presence.

The performance highlights fun solo and ensemble numbers featuring clever parody lyrics. The score includes specific musical callouts such as the Broadway show tunes "A Musical" and "Greased Lightnin'", alongside popular songs like "I Will Survive" and "Respect". Music and vocal keys can be dynamically adjusted based upon the individuals we cast in the show, ensuring everyone sounds their absolute best.

The show includes dynamic dance choreography for ensemble groups, small teams, and featured moments designed to showcase and bring out the best of everyone's abilities, regardless of past dance experience.
