Playwrights Future Theatre is seeking actors for both main cast and understudy roles for Course Society by Steve Nordmark and directed by Becca Holloway. We are seeking and strongly encouraging actors of all sizes, ethnicities, abilities, and gender identities to submit. All roles are open ethnicity and while roles are currently listed within the binary, we encourage all actors to submit for the roles they are most interested in regardless of gender.

Show Description: Henry Redhawk dreams of joining the prestigious Redwood Course Society of Golf, a club so exclusive it has no members left. Henry embarks on a hilariously complicated quest to find a sponsor in country club society where he ends up getting mixed up in a retiree's screwball scheme to fake death to play more golf. Coming out of this comedic maelstrom, Henry finally finds the right person to sponsor his acceptance. Pay Rate: Principals-$800, Understudies-$650

HENRY REDHAWK, Male, 30's. A scratch golfer sent on a mission to find a new member.

RICHARD WENTWORTH, Male, late 20's. The golf agnostic son of Edgar and Carol Wentworth.

BECKY MEADOWS, Female, 20's. A talented golfer about to begin her pro career.

CAROL WENTWORTH, Senior Female. A a sober member of a gated golf community navigating an inebriated world.

EDGAR WENTWORTH, Senior Male. The husband of Carol Wentworth, convinced he must escape his life to improve his golf game.
