Cosmic Thrill Seekers is a emo rock opera based on the album of the same name by Prince Daddy and the Hyena.

Setting: America, present, but in a grander scheme of the universe. Time is not necessarily real here.
Synopsis: This is a play about the spontaneity of the universe. Corey struggles to face their demons and puts their trust in Lauren. When Lauren passes away unexpectedly, Corey explores grief through a series of unsuccessful coping mechanisms. Corey's journey ends with him realizing that although the universe is unforgiving, they don't have to go through it alone.

Fowl Play is an artistic collective interested in exploring social justice, queer culture, and activism. Our mission is to create authentic, intersectional art that incites change and promotes equity. We seek to build a brave, accessible space through the use of empathy, education, and RADICAL JOY.

Characters:
Corey (cast): Troubled loser turned young adult loser

Lauren Williams: Corey's girlfriend. Smart, academic, driven. Asian American.

Dom Williams (cast): Friend of Corey. Lauren's brother. Constant state of existential crisis, thinks big picture dread. Asian American.

AJ (cast): Friend of Corey. Simple thinker.

Jen: Friend of Corey. Frequent user of THC.

Mrs. Williams: Lauren and Dom's mother. Asian American

Ensemble (6-8): A physical manifestation of Corey's mental health struggles. May take on various roles including Lauren's friends, Therapist, and Sheriff. Strong singers and movers.
