HGBIC Productions is casting FOUR PEOPLE OF COLOR - 2 Male & 2 Female - for our upcoming original musical Midnight at the Sunset Cafe.
Set in Chicago's legendary Bronzeville, Midnight at the Sunset Cafe brings together the music, personalities, and spirit of the Golden Age of Black entertainment in an exciting theatrical experience filled with jazz, music, comedy, drama, and unforgettable characters.

2 Female Performers
We are looking for SINGERS/ACTORS who are confident performers with strong stage presence and the ability to bring complex, colorful characters to life.
Performers should have:
Strong acting ability
Strong singing ability
Excellent stage presence
Comfort performing musical theatre/jazz material
Professionalism and commitment
A passion for telling stories centered around Black culture and history
People of Color strongly encouraged to submit.
COMPENSATION
$300 Stipend
Pay is negotiable based on experience and role.
Rehearsals Begin: October 6, 2026
Performances: February 4-29, 2027
