Forty Years of Magic: Alphabet Soup Productions announces their 40th season of TYA in the Chicagoland area. Auditions for the full season will be held on Monday August 3rd at the production office, 309 Westmore-Meyers Road Lombard, IL 60148, 10 a-3 p. Callbacks will be announced as needed.
Performers are to prepare a 2-minute comedic monologue, 16 bars of an upbeat song, and bring picture and resume. Shows include "Cinderella, Or Alls-Well-That-Ends-Wella," "The GREAT Santa Caper," "Winnie the Pooh," and two other musicals.
Alphabet Soup performs throughout the northern, western, and southwestern suburbs. Mass transportation is not an option. Rehearsals begin September 29th with opening day October 14th. Tech Rehearsals are mandatory on October 12th & 13th. Show call is at 930, shows are at 1030 a.m. unless otherwise noted. Running time is 60-65 minutes.
Rehearsal pay is $180.00 and show pay starts at $50.00 per performance. Each show will run for 20-25 performances with added shows a strong possibility. Travel stipend for select venues will also be paid.
