Tech Week: October 24-29

Performances:
October 30 - November 1
November 6 - November 8

A required pickup rehearsal will be held on the Thursday before the second weekend of performances. Depending on ticket sales, this date may be converted to an additional performance instead.

All rehearsals and performances will take place at Community Baptist Church in Warrenville.

Material To Prepare:

Please prepare approximately one minute (32 bars) of music.

You're welcome to sing one of the provided Sweeney Todd audition cuts or choose another musical theatre selection in the style of the show or the character you're auditioning for. We'd love to hear music from the show, but it's not required.

If you are looking to audition for multiple roles, please come prepared with up to three selections you wish to be considered for.

A live accompanist will be provided, so please bring your music clearly marked in your preferred key. We cannot accept a cappella auditions. If you are using our music cuts, you do not need to bring the music to the audition.

Everyone will be asked to read from the provided sides during the audition.

Memorization is not required. We'd much rather see strong storytelling, clear character choices, and a willingness to take risks than perfect memorization.

There will not be a formal dance audition. However, this production will include stylized movement and light choreography, so performers should be comfortable moving on stage.

Please bring one copy of your current headshot and resume, with your headshot attached to your resume. We prefer a hard copy as well even if you submitted them digitally.
