Schaumburg Summer Theatre is holding auditions for DISNEY'S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL.
Book by David Simpatico, Original Songs by Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil; Ray Cham, Greg Cham & Andrew Seeley; Randy Peterson and Kevin Quinn; Andy Dodd and Adam Watts; Bryan Louiselle; David N. Lawrence and Faye Greenberg; Jamie Houston. Music Adapted, Arranged and Produced By Bryan Louiselle. Based on a Disney Channel Original Movie written by Peter Barsocchini.
Will be directed/choreographed by Melissa Crabtree, music directed by Jenny Gaffron, associate directed by Ashley Keys, and stage managed by Emma Johnson. Seeking non-equity adult and older teen actor/singer/dancers (Must be at least 14 by May 21st). Actively seeking all identities, races, genders, and ethnicities for all roles.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL Description:
Disney High School Musical is a contemporary Romeo and Juliet musical comedy. The "jocks", "brainiacs", and "thespians" hatch convoluted plots to separate Troy & Gabriella and keep them off the stage. However, by taking chances and defying expectations, the couple inspires other students to explore and showcase their own hidden talents.

First Rehearsal (Full Company) Sunday, May 31st at 6:00 pm.
Rehearsals run Sunday - Thursday evenings (Sundays 6:00pm - 9:00pm, Monday - Thursdays 7:00pm - 10:00pm)
(Please note: A limited number of featured roles will rehearse Sunday Afternoons in late June/July)
Full Cast Saturday - July 18th - 10:00am - 4:00pm followed by optional Summer Breeze preview performance.
