Big Noise Theatre is excited to announce Non-Equity auditions for performers aged 16+ for THE WIZARD OF OZ! Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum's beloved tale, featuring the iconic musical score from the MGM film. The timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz, continues to thrill audiences worldwide.

Understudies will be cast internally from the ensemble.
Rehearsals will be held on Sunday evenings from 6pm-10pm, as well as Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 7pm-10pm. Rehearsals will be held in Des Plaines between March 2 and April 12, 2026 before moving to the performance space on April 13. Tech Week will take place between April 19 and April 23, 2026.
Performances are at Prairie Lakes Theater April 24 through May 10, 2026 on:
Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30pm
Sundays at 2pm
Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song that you love to sing that shows your voice at its best. Choose a song that reflects the style of the character(s) you are auditioning for. Callbacks are by invite only and will consist of a dance call, singing, and side for some principal roles.
