Eclectic Full Contact Theatre is now accepting headshot/resume submissions for principal actors and understudies for its upcoming production of "The Red Lion" by Patrick Marber, running 5/1-5/16 at The Bramble Arts Loft on Clark.

When a small-time football club brings on a promising new recruit, it seems the team may finally step into the spotlight. But as the star rookie's future proves lucrative for those around him, he's thrown into a battle of principles between the team's money-hungry manager and its caretaker still pining for the glory days.

Note: A British accent will be required for all roles. A dialect coach will be involved in the rehearsals, but please prepare accordingly for the audition.

Yates (M) "An old man"

Kidd (M) "Somewhere in between"
30's-50's. Business-minded. .Understands power. Role is already cast, seeking understudy Any ethnicity

Auditions will be held at the Broadway United Methodist Church, 3338 N Broadway February 15, from 1-5:30. We will see actors for the understudy roles from 1-3 and actors for the role of Jordan from 3:15-5:30. Auditions will consist of sides from the show. A link to those sides will be provided when an audition slot is confirmed.

Pay for principals is $250
Pay for understudies is $125

Understudies are required to be at the first read-thru of the play, the designer run, and all non Q2Q tech rehearsals. Attendance at any other rehearsals is up to them. They are required to see at least one show per performance weekend, and be available to go on in case of an emergency. They are also guaranteed one performance.
