Where there's Neil Simon (The Odd Couple, Barefoot in the Park, and more), there is clever dialogue, relatable characters, and upbeat comedy. "Plaza Suite," which was a recent Broadway revival starring Matthew Broderick & Sarah Jessica Parker, is a rollicking compilation of three short plays about love and relationships. What binds the three plays together? They all take place in Suite 719 of the Plaza Hotel.

Roles
The Kirkwood Players look forward to assembling unique casts for each of the play's three acts, giving a diverse range of actors the opportunity to infuse complex leading roles with natural quirk and good old-fashioned comedic talent.

ACT I - "Visitor From Mamaroneck"
Karen Nash (F/late 30's-50's yrs) - Spunky, affable suburban wife
Sam Nash (M/late 30's-50's yrs) - Man with a competitive spirit toward life
Jean McCormack (F/mid 20-30's yrs) - Sam's studious secretary
Bellhop (any/any) - Knowledgeable employee
Waiter (M/any) - Unsuspecting guest of the night

ACT II - "Visitor From Hollywood"

Jesse Kiplinger (M/30-50 yrs) - Confident, successful man
Muriel Tate (F/30-50 yrs) - Jesse's seemingly naive former classmate

ACT III - "Visitor From Forest Hills"
Norma Hubley (F/50+ yrs) - Sensible wife
Roy Hubley (M/50+ yrs) - Explosive husband
Bordon Eisler (M/late 20-30's) - Happy-go-luck groom
Mimsey Hubley (F/late 20-30's) - Happy-go-lucky bride

Audition Details
This is an Open Call Audition. There are no reserved timeslots. Actors are welcome to show up at any point within the timeframes provided.

Location: Westchester Community Church, 1840 Westchester Blvd, Westchester, IL 60154. *Use back entrance.*

Headshots and resumes are welcome but not required, as actors of all experience levels are encouraged to audition.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. For greater accessibility, actors will also have the opportunity to indicate on their form if they would like to perform a prepared monologue.
