AstonRep Productions is currently accepting submissions for roles in their summer production of Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, adaptations by Liisa Repo-Martell. The production is directed by Derek Bertelsen.
We are accepting submissions for the following roles:
Alexandre Serebryakov, male identifying, late 50s/60s
Yelena Andreevna, female identifying, late 20s
Maria Voynitskaya, female identifying, late 60s/70s
Ilya Ilich Telegin - male identifying, late 60s/70s
Uncle Vanya Production information:
Rehearsals most likely start in mid to late April, with 3-4 rehearsals a week (weekday evenings and some weekends)
Tech/Dress rehearsals: June 15 thru June 17
Performances June 18-July 5, 2026
Performances on Thursday, Fridays, and Saturday evenings and Sunday matinee
No performance on July 4
Performance venue: Edge Off Broadway Theater - 1133 W Catalpa Avenue, Chicago
Actor stipend: $300
