No Dogs in the Kitchen Theatre Company is seeking actors for a two-night staged reading of seven short comedies by Chicago-area playwrights. This is an unpaid opportunity.
We are seeking actors of various ages, genders, identities, and backgrounds. All are welcome!
In-person callbacks will be held between 11am and 6pm on Saturday, February 7.
Directors will schedule three rehearsals with their actors (dates and times based on the team's availability).
There will be a Final Dress / Tech rehearsal the evening of Friday, March 20.
There will be two performances: One on the evening of Saturday, March 21 and one on either Sunday, March 22 or the evening of Monday, March 23.
The March 21 performance will be held at Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro (3905 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60613). Second performance location TBA.
Please record a 1-2 minute contemporary comedic monologue, and share the recording as a public or unlisted link.
