Festival 56, a non-equity professional summer theater located in Princeton, Illinois (about 2 hours southwest of Chicago) announces auditions for their 2026 summer season.

Performers of all ethnicities, physical types, gender identities, ages 18+ are encouraged to audition.
Pay Range: $225-380 per week

For those unable to attend in-person auditions, video submissions will be accepted until February 27, 2026.

Contract Dates range from June 8 to August 10 (for most artists).
Please prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theatre song (music from within the season is welcome but not required) and a 1-minute Shakespeare monologue (verse preferred). If interested in Ring of Fire, actor-musicians who play guitar, bass, fiddle, banjo are welcome. PLEASE BRING A HEADSHOT AND RESUME.
