The Riverfront Playhouse is thrilled to announce auditions for the play MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS by Ron Hutchinson.
This production is directed by Mike Frale.

AUDITIONS: Monday, December 15th 7-10pm or Tuesday, December 16th 7-10pm (more information below). No virtual submissions accepted.
CALLBACKS (If Needed): Wednesday, December 17th 7pm-10pm.
ROLES:
David O. Selznick - The passionate, domineering producer convinced the fate of cinema rests on this rewrite.
Ben Hecht - The cynical, fast-talking screenwriter wielding razor-sharp wit and dwindling patience.
Victor Fleming - The taskmaster director fresh from THE WIZARD OF OZ, now rewriting a classic under absurd conditions.
In person auditions will be held at the The Riverfront Playhouse, 11-13 S Water Street Mall, Aurora, IL 60505.
Cold reads will be provided.
FIRST REHEARSAL: Monday, December 22nd
TECH DATES : 1/25 - 1/29 (evening hours to be determined)
PERFORMANCES:
Weekend 1 - Fri, 1/30 (8pm), Sat, 2/1 (8pm), Sun, 2/2 (2pm)
Weekend 2 - Fri, 2/6 (8pm), Sat, 2/7 (8pm), Sun, 2/8 (2pm)
Weekend 3 - Fri, 2/13 (8pm), Sat, 2/14 (8pm), Sun, 2/15 (2pm)
Weekend 4 - Fri, 2/20 (8pm), Sat, 2/21 (8pm), Sun, 2/22 (2pm)
STRIKE: To immediately follow the final performance. All company members are expected to participate in strike for a maximum of 2hrs.
