Lifeline Theatre is having open auditions for their upcoming production of LOKI: The End of The World Tour, written by ensemble member Christina Calvit with music by George Howe, and directed by ensemble member Heather Currie. This is a non-union production.

About this Production:
This is a rock'n'roll musical that looks at the Norse gods with a modern lens that's both comic and dark. Loki, half giant-half god comes to Asgard, bringing with him comedy, chaos and three monstrous (maybe) children. As he seeks a better life, he meets Thor, Odin and Freya, the mysterious goddess of lust and love. Exploring themes of "the other," cultural assimilation and choosing empathy over rigid ideas of good and bad, LOKI takes us from innocent hope to the end of the world.

We are looking for actors who are strong/unique singers to help shape and inform both the characters and the story. It is our intention that ALL the roles of this play should be open in regards to gender expressions, race, ethnicity and body. The creative team is open to making changes that might be needed to support inclusive casting choices.

Pay
Actor stipend: $610 and $30 per performance
Understudy stipend: $485 and $30 per performance (when you go on)
