The Theater Lab, a D214 Community Education program, is excited to announce auditions for the final production of its 2025-2026 season, "Leaving Iowa" by Tim Clue and Spike Manton.
The Theater Lab is a friendly, collaborative-minded company that encourages performers of all backgrounds and experience to audition.
Auditions for Leaving Iowa by Tim Clue and Spike Manton will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at the Forest View Education Center Theater.
Callbacks will take place by invitation only on Thursday, May 22, 2025, 7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m..
Auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be held at:

Please note: We are asking about your conflicts for a wider range of availability than may be used for rehearsals, so we can try to work around actors' schedules as much as possible.
Rehearsals are scheduled to begin the week of June 9, 2025, and run up to and including the week of the production, August 15-17, 2025. There will NOT be rehearsals from May 30 through July 13 to honor the 4th of July holiday.
While we will do our best to work around actors' schedules, conflicts will be taken into consideration for casting, with preference given to those with fewer conflicts, if necessary. Rehearsals will be held two (2) or three (3) evenings a week and chosen from the following times: 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with Wednesdays added as needed, especially closer to performance dates.
***ATTENDANCE AT ALL TECHNICAL REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCES, AUGUST 11-17, 2025, IS REQUIRED BY ALL ACTORS, WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. PLEASE DO NOT AUDITION IF YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THESE DATES.***

To ensure a smooth audition experience, auditions will be scheduled in 10-minute time slots. Your time slot will be provided via email after completing our online audition form at https://forms.gle/x8c6fPxcMWTvSfvy5. You will be required to provide your name and contact information. You'll also have the opportunity to share your resume, headshot, and any other information you'd like us to know.
After submitting your completed audition form, you will receive an email no later than Monday, May 19, 2025, confirming your time slot for your audition at Forest View Education Center Theater.
