The season gets underway in September with two shows running nearly simultaneously. Kokandy Productions' critically acclaimed revival of Jekyll & Hyde opens September 8 and runs through October 25 at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place. The production follows a sold-out, extended Chicago run last year — the musical's first staging in the city in more than 15 years — and arrives with ten 2025 Jeff Award nominations in tow. Directed by Derek Van Barham with music direction by Nick Sula and choreography by Brenda Didier, the show brings Robert Louis Stevenson's tale of good versus evil to life with a pop rock score by Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse.
Just a day later, Dirty Dancing: The Musical opens at the James M. Nederlander Theatre for a limited run from September 9 through 20. Based on the beloved Lionsgate film, the stage production reunites audiences with Baby and Johnny for the summer that changed everything, set to live music drawn from the original film.
Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical follows at the CIBC Theatre from September 29 through October 11. The show, which won the Olivier Award for Best New Musical and a 2025 Tony Award, tells the improbable true story of the World War II deception mission involving a stolen corpse, a fake love letter, and Ian Fleming. It arrived on Broadway as the best-reviewed show in West End history, earning 88 five-star reviews, and was named the number one Broadway show of 2025 by Entertainment Weekly. The New York Times' Taffy Brodesser-Akner wrote: "It's not just the best musical I've seen; it's the most rewarding theatrical experience I've ever had."
November brings Jersey Boys back to the CIBC Theatre for a two-week run from November 10 through 22. The Tony Award-winning show celebrating 20 years takes audiences behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, from the streets of New Jersey to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, featuring hits like "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Oh What a Night," and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You."
The new year opens with Maybe Happy Ending, running January 5 through 17 at the CIBC Theatre. The show took home six Tony Awards including Best Musical and is directed by Tony Award winner Michael Arden. USA Today called it "one of the best musicals in years," while the Observer went further, declaring it "the best musical in eons."
Closing out the season is Oh, Mary!, a dark comedy from playwright Cole Escola running January 19 through February 7 at the CIBC Theatre. The 80-minute one-act imagines a miserable Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks before Abraham Lincoln's assassination, exploring unrequited yearning, alcoholism, and suppressed dreams. The New York Times declared it "one of the best comedies in years," and the show earned two Tony Awards — including Best Direction of a Play for Sam Pinkleton — along with Drama League Awards for Outstanding Play and Outstanding Direction, a special citation from the New York Drama Critics' Circle, and a Pulitzer Prize for Drama nomination.
Six-show packages start at $205 and include savings of up to 38% off single ticket prices, parking and suite service discounts, free exchange privileges based on availability, and early access to off-season specials.
