The second one-act on the bill, Mrs. Dire's House of Crumpets and Solutions by Byron Hatfield, is funnier and more charming. It focuses on a group of Victorian ladies who regularly plot revenge on abusive men, and a tight ensemble, directed by Alison Dornheggen, makes them both feminist and fun."
