Under the Blue Sky

Under the Blue Sky

Steep Theatre
1044 West Berwyn Chicago

Part hilarious love letter to the men and women who teach our young, part incisive examination of a modern world where every city street is one bomb blast away from becoming a war zone, David Eldridge's Under the Blue Sky tells the story of six high school teachers whose lives become tangled by their battles in the classroom as well as the bedroom. TimeOut named it the Best New Play in the West End in 2000. The play enjoyed a recent revival in the West End of London at the Duke of York’s Theatre and has had successful runs in Los Angeles and New York.
