Edge of the Wood in Chicago

Established in the summer of 2000, Edge of the Wood Theatre started off as a month-long summer initiative aimed at engaging local youth. Over time, it has blossomed into a dynamic theatre academy, offering three sessions of classes annually for young people aged 6 to 18, in addition to staging three major musicals each year and numerous brief performances for its younger participants. Edge of the Wood takes pride in having impacted the lives of thousands of students in the past twenty years, with numerous alumni pursuing professional paths in performing arts and arts education.
