Theatre Donations for COVID-19 Pandemic

Coronavirus has made a huge impact on the theatre industry. Theatres from across the country were forced to postpone or cancel their shows. It goes without saying that a very large percentage of the revenue generated by most theatres comes from the sell of tickets and holding other events that are directly tied to people getting together in groups. The COVID-19 pandemic has virtually eliminated this income from theaters all at once.

Theaters often also rely on charitable contributions and this is an unprecedented time that requires the generosity and support of theatre fans and supporters. Currently for theatres, donations are the most direct and immediate way to help them get through this very difficult time.

If you are so inclined to make a donation you can easily donate to a number of theatres through Goldstar who are encouraging users to keep live events alive. People are encouraged to donate to a theatre by giving a $10, $20 or $50 donation. The push is open to many theatres, for profit and not, from the Goodman Theater to The Theatre School at DePaul University.

Here are links to several different theatres that are in need of donations that you can easliy give to today. Click on a link to learn more and help them out...
