Kiss Me Kate presented by Big Noise Theatre at Prairie Lakes Theatre

Kiss Me, Kate is Cole Porter's jazzy musical comedy about a former husband-and-wife acting team waging war against each other while trying to stage a production of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Scenery-chewing director and actor Fred and his ex-wife Lilli are the quintessential "can't live with them, can't live without 'em" couple, complemented by the irreverent humor of two brilliant writers: Cole Porter and William Shakespeare. In its original 1948 production, Kiss Me, Kate won five Tony awards, including Best Musical. This production at Big Noise Theatre at Prairie Lakes features classic Cole Porter numbers such as "So In Love," "Too Darn Hot," "Always True to You (In My Fashion)" and more.
