Hopelessly Devoted Reviews
Chicago Tribune- Highly Recommended
"...Silver isn't a savior. Nor is Serena - whose own attempts to find Chess' daughter lead to some unexpected complications. And at heart, "Hopelessly Devoted" is hopeful without being saccharine. That hope can be its own source of sadness, too - as Chess notes, "It's not the bad things that hurt you in here. It's the good things." Yet somehow, she does manage to give voice to the bad and the good. Haskins' voice - rich, resonant and revealing - provides the haunting soundscape to this honest unflinching picture of how picking up the pieces can still leave you with wounds and scars."
