Through an intimate conversation with a biographer, Call Me Elizabeth examines the movie star's early life, career and loves as she grapples with the culture of celebrity and her place as Hollywood's brightest star.

"...Written by and starring Kayla Boye, the work is a thoughtful look at a pop culture icon, adored and or hated by millions, dealing with who she is, why she is where she is and how best to tell her story. During this pandemic, Ms Boye, now had the time to put it all together and she did. While it is not a subject that will please all audiences ( I am thinking our young theater audiences ) it is a fine production with smooth direction by Erin Kraft and music added by Ethan Deppe and vocals done by Bethany Thomas."

"...The production's look is picture perfect. The setting, with it's variety of period props, feels specific and appropriate for this Beverly Hills Hotel bungalow. Glamourland Vintage and Necia's Hairstyling work together to create just the right, elegant look for Elizabeth Taylor. And Ethan Deppe's lush background composition creates the perfect musical atmosphere, while the velvety voice of Bethany Thomas provides a deliciously provocative coda to this virtual performance, as she sings Deppe's beautiful, "Lilies and Roses.""
