Young Krones
Late April, East Of Sheridan

Pay: Stipend

Description:

Young Krones-a theatermaking duo based in Rogers Park-is seeking collaborating actors for a workshop of a new play, Late April, East of Sheridan, by M.K. Rothberg, directed by Ava Calabrese Grob. The workshop process will take place at Facility Theatre in Humboldt Park between October 24th and November 17th, with work-in-progress showings on November 18th and 19th.

WHAT IS A WORKSHOP WITH YOUNG KRONES?
We're seeking collaborators to jaunt with us through the process of making/building/sculpting this play; we do not know exactly what we will show - only that it will be a work-in-progress. We are interested in workshopping more than just the text-our investigations during this month may include (but are not limited to) developing choreography, experiments with audience interaction, play with shadow puppetry, pillow fort construction, and intimacy-choreography-as-dramaturgy.

Auditions will be held on Monday, October 3rd from 3pm-9pm at 1138 N California Ave, Chicago, IL 60622.

PAY: $75 stipend
