Theatre Above the Law is casting the World Premiere of the 2019 Adaptation Festival Winner W.o.W. by Kiely Sugayan.

Synopsis:
Just like the source material, except no aliens, no heat rays and no Tom Cruise. Set in 3 different bathrooms this play uses passages from the original novel to tell the story of one woman in three different points in her life where she feels trapped by the real life threat to the world as we know it...gross men.

Only auditioning P.O.C. for these roles. This includes, but not limited to, Black, Asian, LatinX, etc.

Auditions will be virtual. Please include a 30 second monologue of your choosing with your headshot and resume for your submission. Those with unreliable or limited internet access concerns can make in person arrangements.

Character Type/Restrictions:
Two 20 year old women of color

One 35 year old woman of color

Time Commitment:

Rehearsals begin April 3. Schedule based on cast availability. Performance/Streaming dates May 13-June 13, 2021

Material To Prepare:

Resume, Headshot, 30 second monologue of your choosing. Selected auditionees will be given sides from the script for callbacks.
